Make a list, just ten items or fifteen, of what you think you need to do, see or experience before other circumstances take over.
They don’t have to be complicated or far-reaching. Not everyone wants to or has the chance for long stays abroad or brutal outdooring. If you want to sing karaoke at your neighborhood bar or send a letter to your community newspaper. Then do it.
Make that list, you’ll be surprised how it can motivate you, and how great it feels to accomplish something you’ve set out to do.
