Mummies: Secrets of the Silk Road

I saw a naturally mummified woman and infant, the first mummies I ever saw in person as part of the Secrets of the Silk Road at the Penn Museum today. The mummified woman was roughly 40 years old at the time of her death, though her body was roughly 3,800 years old, though her hair and eyelashes still remained.

I did go the much hyped 2007 King Tut exhibit at the Franklin Institute, but, of course, there was no mummy there.

See this video promo from a past running of the show.
